AMERICAN MEASUREMENTS
6	c	Apples, sliced
1/2	c	White sugar
2	tb	Flour
1	ts	Cinnamon
1/4	ts	Nutmeg
2	tb	Margarine
2		Pastry for 9" pie

Line 9 inch pie plate with pastry.

Combine sugar, flour and spices, mix with sliced apples. Fill pie shell with fruit mixture, dot with margarine. Place pastry on top. Adjust and crimp edges of top crust, cut slits for steam to escape. Moisten top with milk and sprinkle with sugar if desired.

Bake at 400 degrees 50 minutes or until done.
